Activation Teams Categories

As the GCR Support team, we intend to carry out the great commission as described in this shortened version of the Activation Teams mission statement. Our vision is to establish the Kingdom of God.

Mission

To activate, mobilize, equip and empower all believers to be true disciples, thus the Church, in order the fulfill the Great Commission as declared by Jesus Christ. We regard the instructions of Jesus Christ the foundation and heartbeat of true discipleship:

Mark 16:15

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Matthew 28: 18-20

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Matthew 4:19

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Mark 16:17-18

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

This is what we all need to do.

Vision

As Spirit-filled disciples – sold out for Jesus in passion, zeal and unwavering commitment – to establish the Kingdom of God and its eternal values, truths, and ways on earth.

Our goal as the GCR Support team is to equip every believer that signs up, to do what is described in this short mission statement.

It is expected of each person, each team leader and each team member, to equip others the way that Christ instructed us to do.

Please read the following posts to understand what we all signed up for: The Global Activation Network and Mobilize and Activate

Please take note that the Mobilize and Activate Team leaders and Teams are required to do the following:

Activation Team leaders

Team Leaders are disciples who can assist Team Members to plant a church, disciple a group of people, pray for the sick, cast out demons, pray for the baptism in the Holy Spirit and activate the group to fulfill the great commission.

This is just a summary of what is required from them. Planting a church and helping the church members to grow and to mature in Christ are part of the functions that need to be carried out. The team members assist the Team Leaders whilst the Team leaders help the team members to equip the newly planted house church. The role of the GCR Support Team is to help each of them to be able to do this. We assist them and we give them all the support that they need to fulfill the great commission.

Activation Teams

Team Members are disciples who know and understand the role of the team Leader. Team Members assist the Team Leaders to carry out the work of the ministry as described above. Team Members will be responsible for the house church until it can be left to function on its own.

It is important to understated that there are not a hierarchical leadership structure in house churches. Everybody is on the same level. We are all Christians and we are all disciples of Christ. The GCR Support Team referring to Team Leaders and Team Members and Church Members is merely to differentiate between the different functions and responsibilities.
