God And the Pandemic

Isn’t it amazing how Covid-19 has absolutely shaken the world to its knees? Granted, many say and believe Covid-19 is the brainchild of the World Order, or has satanic intentions, but what has it really done so far? What it has done it is bring forth the reality of Matthew 7 (Jesus speaking): 24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.”

Those with huge wealth were not spared from the pandemic. For there is no real power in money. It is merely an illusion. It buys you comfort, but it cannot buy you true peace and spiritual rest. Yes, money is not our Rock of steadfast hope or joy.

Those with huge power and influence were not spared from the pandemic. For there is no real power in the power of this world. It is merely the illusion of foolishness, dressed up as greed, pride and arrogance. Yes, the golden calves fell, and so did every idol. Power is not our Rock of faith.

Those who enjoyed great education were not spared. The supposed wise was not spared. The ‘clever’ was shaken. Celebrities were shaken. Yes, every tribe, every nation, every language and every person under the sun – no matter the race – was shaken. The world laughed at God. Laughed at His Kingdom. Laughed at His commandments and truth. Yet God shall not be mocked. Who is laughing now?

We discovered that money could not save us. We discovered that our mansions in the sky could not be our refuge. We discovered that all our advancements in medicine, technology and science could not save us. We discovered all the great philosophers and academics and scholars had no answers. There was just a groan. A mourning. Yes, we watched kingdoms crumble. We watched as mankind cried far and wide for help. But who really sought God?

Yes, mankind was brought to its knees. Broken in its own pride. Broken it its arrogance. Just as God shook the Tower of Babel. Just as God shook Egypt with the plagues. Yes, many found their humanity – loving and caring again – and families were united, but the shaking also brought forth the darkness from the heart of man, his evil intent and wickedness of thought.

Indeed, many view Covid-19 and the pending vaccination as a satanic ploy to enslave mankind, yet all that I see is not the devil, but mankind realizing beyond a shadow of doubt that we are not gods. Yes, we may think so, but we are blinded but such madness and bewildered by such deception. We are mortal. We are God’s masterpiece, but we have abandoned God. We rejoice in our arrogance. We rejoice in the splendor of our barbarity, decadence and carnality. All that I see is mankind shaken to its core, for its salvation is not in money. Or power. Or fame. Or fortune. Or influence. Or education. Our salvation and hope is only in God. Nothing else. He is our refuge and high tower. Without God, we are not enlightened. Without God we are of the same cloth as the barbaric Roman of yesteryear, the deceived philosophers of Ancient Greece and the bloodthirsty pagans of Babylon.

And how we were brought to our knees! For God had spoken He will shake the world, and interrupt the lives of EVERY person. And God has shaken. He does not lie. He shook our comfortability. Nothing was familiar. Nothing was normal. And many found their foundations shaken. King and the common man were brought to their knees, wondering where to turn for their help. Revelations 9 we saw the accumulation of God’s shaking when we read: “20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. 21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.” Sadly, and so tragically, in this shaking, many will still not repent. Or alter their spiritual course. They will continue to defy God. And His Kingdom. They embrace the darkness, shunning the light. So be it for it is fulfillment of Revelations 22: 11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”

Yes, many foundations of ministries and churches have also been shaken. For we are we really following? Who do we really serve? Or have we used God for our own needs and desires? And so we came to a realization that our footing is not so secure. Yes, these are perilous times. And the shaking is not going to end. God will continue to shake and it will only get more intense as His fire prunes, cleanses, refines and corrects. And so we learn that we shall only survive such perilous times, and yes overcome all satanic agendas and attacks, if we abide in God. Nothing else will save us. Nothing.

While indeed the devil prowls like a roaring lion, and indeed while the world continues to devour and to consume the innocent as a tyrannical monster, one thing I know is that we are very but very foolish to mock God. How we need to fear God again! For who cares what the devil will do, because Babylon has fallen, the serpent’s defeat is secure and the Blood has not lost its power to redeem, to save, to heal and to deliver. It is time to get back to God. And quickly. He has no equal. He has no rival. Let us not be found wanting when the seals and the trumpets and the bowls pour forth.

Let it shake God. Let it shake.

And yes Lord, come, and come quickly.

  1. Interesting. I believed from the start, and I still believe that COVID-19 is from God, irrespective of the fact that it came into existence because of China. It was the great equalizer and I do believe that it was created to bring the world, and some Christians, to their knees.

  2. Thanks to so many preachers and teachers who do not understand the judgment of God, who preaches a God who is like Santa, who is nice like Santa, and who only gives good presents, like Santa, the church does not believe in a God of judgment anymore, who brings evil. He said himself, I created both good and evil. So when the New Testament God, Jesus Christ the Saviour, threatened a Christian woman, that He will throw her onto a sickbed if she does not repent, and that He will kill her children if she does not repent, and that He will bring calamities over the people who listen to her, the church does not even listen to it because they have been taught that God is like Santa. No judgment or punishment at all. Yet the New-Testament God killed Ananias and Saphira, and Paul warned Christians that if they do not judge themselves, that in such a case, God will judge them and that is why many of them are sick and many died already (which means God judged and punished them, He brought sicknesses and diseases over them and He even killed some of them and He brought calamities over some of them). All this in the New Testament, yet the church believes all evil comes from satan, suggesting that COVID-19 is from satan.
